This updated version of one of Emma Farquharson’s classic vintage designs is strong and colourful and demands attention!
The main feature of the ring is the single gemstone sphere perched atop a vase shaped ring and held aloft! The gems available are rose quartz, lapis lazuli, black onyx or turquoise.
The ring can be made in any size and other gemstones can be sourced.

The body of the ring is carved in wax before being cast using recycled silver.
Other details are added before the spherical gem is put in place.
Each gem sphere varies slightly in size but are all about 14mm wide.
The gemstones available are deep purple amethyst, golden carnelian, turquoise, black onyx, pink rose quartz, lapis lazuli and luminous green chrysoprase.

If worn or kept in the box it came in, your Emma Farquharson Jewellery should keep its original finish.
If necessary to clean, for matt surfaces you can use a soft toothbrush and light abrasive such as pumice or baking soda to give it a clean.
For shiny surfaces, just use a soft silver or gold polishing cloth or silver dip.

Award winning British jewellery designer Emma Farquharson has over three decades of experience creating, designing and selling in the UK and the USA. She trained at the Central School of Art and Design in London and has workshops in Hatton Garden, London’s renowned historical jewellery district and Frome, Somerset.
